I noticed it has been just over six months since I've updated and thought now would be a good time. I've been writing this book for a while now. Sometimes fast and sometimes slow, but I'm always thinking about it at least. Every. Single. Day. And not for just a few minutes either. 6 hours at least. How far have I gotten? Just over 15,000 words. Not as far as I'd like to be but it is still coming along nicely and I'm getting faster. My goal is 55,000 words. That is minimum for standard novel length and I don't think I'll have too much trouble reaching that. I've still barely scratched at the list of parts I really want to get to.

I still don't feel comfortable announcing any details for the world to see (since I want to make money off it and I'm not the fastest writer), but I will eventually put that up as well as a bit of the beginning.

I have support from my family, and that makes it a lot easier to write. I got my Dad to tear up within the first few sentences. Sorry for outing you Dad, but I'm proud of that. Wait till you get to the end of the first chapter. That part made my Mother-in-law cry.
